Award-winning Writer

I’m Wilma, and I’ve always been a writer. Ever since I was a kid I’ve loved writing stories, making up imaginary worlds, and giving life to little characters that live inside my head. 

 

I started writing and posting fanfiction online during the pandemic under the username wesslan, and my works have amassed a total of over half a million hits, thousands upon thousands of comments, and endless love and support from my readers.

 

Writing for games and being in charge of the narrative and storytelling is something that I’ve learned that I love to do. Between 2022 and 2025 I attended Uppsala University Campus Gotland and got myself a bachelors degree in Game Design. During my time there I found an amazing crowd of people – and now we’ve published a visual novel together (Metamorph), and I was the lead (and only!) writer for it. 

 

Together our little team (Jackdaw Games – Hey look! You’re on our website!) have lots and lots of ideas and plans, and I’m excited to keep busy writing for our future game projects. But if you like my writing and want to work with me, don’t hesitate to reach out- I will always make time for you!

How to bring your cat back to life

This is a small game made in Twine that I made for the course Intro to Interactive Storytelling at Uppsala University Campus Gotland. It's based on a story I wrote a while back, and it's on my Itch.io - Click the Itch.io icon in the header to check it out.

Metamorph

Libertine

Libertine is a game about gambling, risking it all, and chopping off fingers when you run out of chips. Normal casino stuff. It's a WIP, and much of it is subject to change. We're entering Gotland Game Conference and SGA with this game 2025! Click on the L to go to our page about Libertine!
